Bowling for Sarah

The first annual Sarah’s Bowl for CdLS took place in Batesville, IN, recently. Sarah’s mom, Anne, was amazed by the support of her community — and was sure to let the folks of Batesville and surrounding areas know how much she and her family appreciated them putting on bowling shoes for a cause so dear to her heart.

Runners, walkers hit the streets for the Foundation

All 20 members of Team CdLS crossed the finish line of the Chicago Marathon this past Sunday. To date, the team has raised more $63,000 for the Foundation, and the donations are still coming in. A big thanks to all the members, many of whom are pictured in th pre-race photo below.

And a big high-five to Joel and Maureen in Michigan, who held the first Walk for Will and Hope this past weekend as well. Their event raised nearly $5,000 for the Foundation. Team CdLS takes Manhattan Beach by storm

Los Angeles-area families and friends took to the streets of Manhattan Beach this past Saturday in honor of children with CdLS – and of one young man in particular, local resident Mikey Gonella, who passed away three years ago.

His parents, Julie and Roy, put together a team of runner and walkers for the Manhattan Beach 10K. It was their way of giving back to the Foundation for the support it provided to the family for 18 years. And give back they did: the team raised more than $35,000. Way to go!
